Juan F. Rada — Senior Vice President of Global Public Sector & Healthcare & Education at Oracle

Mr. Juan F. Rada serves as Senior Vice President of Global Public Sector, Healthcare & Education at Oracle Corporation. Mr. Rada has been Senior Vice President of Oracle Industries for Europe, Middle East and Africa for Oracle's industries since June 2000. He is a member of the management team for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). He served as Senior Vice President of Global Public Sector for Healthcare & Education at Oracle Corporation. He joined Oracle as Vice President for Public Services for EMEA in 1998. Since June 2006, he has been responsible for the Public Sector and Education Industries Business Unit globally. Mr. Rada has held senior roles at leading international companies, including Digital Equipment Corporation and AT&T. He served as Vice President of Digital Equipment Corporation International (Europe) from 1992 to 1998, responsible for strategic alliances and new initiatives. From 1979 to 1992, he served as Professor of Technology Management and Dean of the International Management Institute (IMD) in Switzerland. From 1989 to 1992, he was the Founding Director General (Dean) of IMD. Mr. Rada serves as the Chairman of the Lombard Odier Darier Hentsch Infology Fund Advisory Board. He has been a Non Executive Director of Prudential Five Limited since November 19, 2002. He serves as Director of WIN Advanced Systems Ltd, Egg Banking plc., and Canada Square Operations Limited. He has served as a board member for a number of corporate, academic, and not-for-profit organizations includes the Club of Rome, the European Commission Information Technology Review Board, the Council of the World Conservation Union (IUCN), and the Advisory Board of the World Bank Community Carbon Fund. Mr. Rada studied economics and sociology at the Universidad Cat??lica de Chile, and followed by studies at the University of London, where he obtained his PhD.
