What do you like best about the leadership team?
Mission driven, transparent, and caring
Monthly face to face. Weekly checkins
available - door is always open
They communicate openly to the company and ask for feedback. I trust their experience and that they're doing the right thing.
The Leadership team are transparent and committed. Bringing in great talent.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Prioritize the highest value activities and gain alignment among leadership. We can't do everything all at once while still doing it well.

What is the best part about your compensation package?
the possibility of paid days off
PTO is not unlimited, but is very generous. This ensures people actually use their time off!
My salary and the Healthcare package is great
paternity leave is 12 weeks (that is good for what I've seen in the USA)
We have an extra day off every month where the whole company unplugs. I've never experienced that at any other employer. Everyone loves it.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Compensation should be above market average for my specialization and my experience

The collaborative spirit of everyone, i'm amazed
they are very open with their ideas and decision

Very strong Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity commitment. All tech companies say it, but at PagerDuty it's real. You feel it in everything we do. We're also very committed to Social Impact. It's easy to be proud to work at PagerDuty based on how much we give back.

Would love some transparency around decision making that affects employees.

Very structured and well thought

Diversity is a focus at PagerDuty. Both my interviewers were female and the process was designed to remove bias: scripted questions with objective scoring, no years experience set in the job description. They actively seek people with diverse backgrounds.
