The company and its products are great and fast-moving, but the culture needs a lot of work. There are small silos of great culture (i know some realy good teams), but the vast amount of teams display a cut-throat and isolating atmosphere. I think there is also a lot of superficial bias.

What would you improve about your company's interview process?
Have more of a structure. Random people get chosen to interview sometimes, and there's little structure or prep
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is great. They are driven and inspired. We are all at an motivational low right now, but they are great people and very driven.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Leadership needs to sow team-building and cohesion, not discord and cut-throat culture. They need to do this through demonstration. On too many C-level and senior executive meetings, people are just rude. They treat us and like we are insignificant. Feedback should always be constructive to motivate
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Top-down cultural improvements (real changes - e.g. lead bu doing). Stop mentioning that youre hiring more women at every all hands. It makes us women uncomfortable like we're diversity hires and only there to boost that number. I get demotivated every time. Just keep DOING it. No need to say it.
