very general and generic questions. nothing outlandish.
Does Petco do alot of a/b testing?
I'm not sure but they constantly send out surveys but never share the results with employees. what's the point?
What part of Petco's business is growing fastest? What part is having difficulties?
I think Petco is all together having difficulties. I don't see any of the business growing. They make people nervous with all of these lay offs.
How would you describe your overall experience interviewing at Petco?
weird. I left not sure as to how it went.
What do you like best about the leadership team at Petco?
They are a committed, competent and aligned group.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better at Petco?
This is like 13th grade. Everyone criticizes each other and talks badly behind their backs. and the managers are all in each others pockets.
What is the best part about your compensation package at Petco?
Opportunity share in the value created over time.

Somewhat challenging right now but Evolving in a good way
What needs to change to make the company culture better at Petco?
Stop playing favorites. Stop micromanaging. If the gm is the problem, it doesnt help to inform the gm of a complaint. They know who made it.
What does the leadership team at Petco need to get better at?
Stop micromanaging. Listen to your employees concerns. Set an example, stop proving "do as i say, not as I do". Stop playing favorites.

We are Understaffed. Undersupplied. Undervalued. Undermined. Underpaid. Overmanaged. Overstressed. Overworked and Overlooked.

They are amazingly committed and always want to do what best for their customers.

Feeling like I'm valued for my whole self, and the commitment and collaboration of the people around me.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved at Petco?
My managers are constantly looking for something wrong with what im doing. They never compliment anything i do right.
