What interview questions does PFP ask?
Don't expect them to ask questions. Expect to sell yourself to get the job.
What's the interview process like at PFP?
Interviewing to be hired into PFP is same as interviewing for an internal position. Long, drawn out, difficult and competing with external applicants. Good luck if you don't have a degree.
What part of PFP's business is growing fastest? What part is having difficulties?
PFP Services sells insurance to every day people that will actually benefit from them. However these same people do not know how to budget there money. So having paid policies can be difficult and the company is continually trying to enhance their technology to do this.
If you could make changes, how would you improve the culture at PFP?
Remember to celebrate all your employees daily, not just the sales reps. As with any company you wouldn't exist without them.
What do people at PFP think about the CEO? What do they do well and what can they improve?
The CEO will always want what is best to create a successful company that his employees love to work at. When considering long term goal planning consider the employees individual strengths and there own long term goals. Just because an employees goals doesn't line up with the company goals doesn't mean you stop believing that employee has value or potential. Just because an employee doesn't drink the kool-aide doesn't mean they don't have value to offer the company or have the potential for great things.
How's the work life balance at PFP?
Stressful as a CSR because the focus was not on providing customer service but to convert those calls into sales. This was regardless the reason was good or bad that they called. I have to say though they have a really good heart and want to provide the best insurance protection, but in the end numbers and money talks.
Does PFP have any remote positions?
Outside sales positions work in credit unions. Inside sales and lead generators may work from home. From last I know CSRs only work from the house.
How does PFP make decisions around promotions?
They really try to put a lot of thought into career development and merit increases. However, there aren't many opportunities for advancement, so you can be stuck for a long time in a role you don't want.
How's the vacation policy at PFP?
You earn a day per month, then it increases after the first year. You can imagine it difficult if you want to plan a one week vacation and take care of your health at the same time.
