Pratt & Whitney Interviews Employee Reviews

What did you like most about the interview process?

Honest interviewers and structured setting.

They listen to what you say

My hiring manager emphasized that it was a conversation as opposed to an interview. It was a welcome comment.

They asked specific questions about my experience

Very informal and personal process.

Meeting multiple different managers from the same field.

The superday aspect and the fact that they arranged for us to get to know the area and other young employees

Review from Engineering Dept

What's easier than hiring friends and family

Review from Operations Dept

Giving friends and family opportunities to work

The company is good about having a panel involved, and empowering direct managers and/or teams. But the coordination with recruitment is lacking.

Review from Operations Dept

It measures people’s talent

Review from Operations Dept

Interviewer was very friendly and personable

Review from Engineering Dept

I was very comfortable with the questions and the environment

What would you improve about your company's interview process?

PW has an odd interview process in that you meet with mostly members of management and very few of your actual working group. When you arrive for work on your first day, you are awkwardly introduced to members of your group.
