What's the company culture like at Providence Health & Services?
Top Employee Response
Perhaps this is true of many healthcare organizations durning these times of uncertainty... Providence culture is disconnected and ultimately there is little support trickling down from leadership. If you walk the halls of many locations, you will hear a lot of unhappiness and dissatisfaction with leadership. At this point to most of us cogs, it feels as if the leaders of this company are here to collect a comfortable paycheck and nothing more. This company is in a major financial deficit and it feels as if the leadership is going to chop off the legs so to speak, rather than take a more strategic approach to turning things around. Overall it's an unhealthy culture, and it's more of a place to collect a paycheck, have comfortable benefits and build a resume than anything else.
Passive aggressive. Providence nice is that you won’t hear negative feedback, people just ignore you. Lately they’ve been hiring people outside the industry making it hard to focus on industry standards.
