It previously was very enjoyable and inspiring. Recently in the last year I would say it has done a 180. It now feels impossible to get promoted or even attempt to get paid on a level I should be making for my role. It feels like my only option is to leave and come back in 1-2 yrs to be fairly paid.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Toxic work behaviors and work life balance. The lack of diversity in our office is staggering.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The EA's I work with are amazing! The little group we have made help support each other and are available for any questions. Love the E&C EA's!
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Flexibility, I feel as though the culture has become very toxic. Lack of communication and work life balance. Leadership don't seem to care for others time, if they want a meeting at 9pm it needs to happen.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Communication! Seems like everyone is on different tasks when it comes to RTO. The email Andrew Bruce sent was very early given Calgary and Toronto offices had no plan for RTO before the email was sent.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
The pay among individuals in the same position is not consistent. Seems like people who are just joining Sapient now at a lower level are making more than people who have been here 5+ years. Comp audit needs to be done to help retention for long term employees
