Being left alone to do the job I was hired for.

Being told exactly what I could expect. My interviewer was very honest
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
For the most part, the people I work with are ok, it just gets frustrating that management shows a lot of favoritism
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
They make newly hired employees work a specific number of hours or a year before they can become part of the stock ownership program. They rely heavily on retired and part time employees, but making them wait is definitely a poor way of showing appreciation to these employees.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Kids are kids, and I completely understand that, but it is up to members of management to stop the horseplay, the slacking, and general time wasted by the 17-20 year olds they hire. If management likes you, you can not do anything for your entire shift and get away with it.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
There are more managers in my store than I have ever seen before. I only work part time but every manager has a different set of rules and it is very difficult to understand what is expected. All of the managers need to be on the same page, and stop acting like some of the kids that work there.
