I have been there 9 years and I enjoy working there. You make friends. And that makes the work you do not seem like work at all. I made the right choice to work for Publix and stay with them.
What did you like most about the interview process?
Nothing. I hate interviews and am always nervous.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Since I now only work one day a week, I only get dental and vision. They are both excellent plans!
What makes you most happy at work?
Just being with familiar faces; both co-workers and customers. It's mostly a regular crowd of customers and I have my favorites. I love seeing them!
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I have the best leadership team right now (but they could change at any given time as managers are rotated from store to store every couple years).
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I think it's the fact that in order to work for Publix, you have to be helpful to customers at all times. It's instilled in you. If you're not doing that, you won't last long at Publix. That being said, the people are the most positive.
