Rack Room Shoes Leadership Employee Reviews

What do you like best about the leadership team?

The leadership team is very accessible and aligned with one another. Cross-department projects get the attention of the entire executive team to ensure they are seamlessly supported and we can bring concerns to them directly.

The leadership is superb and everything is explained. They make the job fun!

They help you dont matter how busy we are

The confidence shown by generalizing requests & objectives. Either could be given with strong definition. Yet, simplifying set goals supplies knowledge of fully completing them.

Review from Sales Dept

The assistant managers are amazing people at store #263. While the GM could help around the store a little more, he is a good manager.

Review from Sales Dept

Devoted, clear communication, adaptive, and productive

For the most part they're helpful and encouraging. Willing to teach if youre willing to learn

They make sure your knowledge is well and diverse

I was hired for part time and started out doing 5 hr shifts.I was hired for the cash register. Then the manager said she was cutting me back to 4hr shifts. I had no problem with that. I was out 2 wks after surgery. The surgeon said 2 wks of light duty after that.

Nice, flexable and professional. Manager is not professional and talks down to you in front of customers.

Review from Sales Dept

One thing I do love is how much the company cares about their people. Yes, it is all about customer service but at the end of the day, they are very grateful for everything that we do.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Training new hires and associates and not just refusing to teach part timers anything but register

Open communication, Inclusion training, and professionalism.

NOT GOSSIPING keeping a positve work enviroment, focusing on the job itsself NOT BAD MOUTHING EMPLOYEES. and actually being appreciative of hard worker people in their store

Less drama, more positive work enviroment focusing on the actual job instead of peoples business

people not being petty and haveing petty thoughts

Asking employees how happy they are with treatment and working conditions. Treating employees like they matter. Maybe sensitivity training for management

Training employees and teaching them what they need to know to he successful.

Get rid of present district manager and have Human Resources listen to its employees

learning to do their own job

Everything managers don't really do anything but sit at the coputer play on their phone.

Review from Sales Dept

Very passive aggressive and condescending.

Trust each other and be transparent.

The leader ship me stop having favoritism and non-communication

I am the assistant manager at my location and by no means am I perfect but I've been trying to get ahold of hr my manager refused to give me the phone number and even went as for as to tell me to clock out and go home for asking for the number

Hold district managers and regional managers accountable for their actions. Let them realize that the store staff is is on the same team as the the upper management

Review from Sales Dept

Communication And great working plan

Helping each other out and actually getting work done through out the day

Store manager has to stop being so messy.

Review from Sales Dept

Talking to people and helping staff members

Value employees, employee relations, get managers input
