What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Allow people who feel unsupported or unappreciated to a different team. I don't click at all with my manager & feel that I honestly would rather not be present for huddles & just be on the phones dialing. Our huddles are a huge waste of time & I could be dialing/making money instead of doing jokes

A poor manager who doesn't set me up for success. It could be improved if there was serious investment from leadership in receiving and acting on feedback from employees. Management doesn't check in on people.

Leaders need to align their actions with their words. Saying the company cares about diversity or fair housing but not taking action makes the words feel empty. I find the product teams is becoming increasingly political. It's very hard to get work done.

system issues that create customer issues. Poor interdepartmental communication results in frustrated customers. Issues taking too long to resolve and little or no explanation for those of us that are required to deal with the customers anger and frustration.

Benefits and pay could be better. Teams need help with trusting one another. Communication platforms should be simplified and have an emphasis on accessibility. My manager needs to challenge me and give me criticism, not just praise. The turnaround time for review cycles need to be shorter.

Targets are set extremely high and misalignment with the company's big bets makes support and expected growth difficult to come by and meet. In conjunction with the above, there seems to be no effort by leadership to say "no" and/or accept "no" as an answer when prioritizing.

The burnout is real - we are stretched very thin and in way too many directions - but can't get much done because we are short on resources. Additionally, what we've been asked to prioritize isn't a priority for others who are a critical piece in the completion of the project.
