I've been able to draw upon my relatively long and diverse experience to take on small projects that create small improvements. Other employees with less experience struggle to do this and get bogged down in distraction and inefficiency. I wish that middle managers were more effective coaches.

Every RedShelfer genuinely wants to do right by the student and the bookstore.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The leadership team is stacked with bright leaders who all have rich experience in and outside of EdTech to draw upon.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I am paid below market rate given my experience level and the measure of success I've had at RedShelf. A 401k match, market-equivalent pay, and more junior team members to take on some of the more mundane tasks that I've grown beyond would go a long way.
