Process documentation, planning/sticking to plans, and forecasting goals with data based on market research and past performance. Hiring a PMO of at least 3 people is a good place to start.
Actually recognize employees. Hold themselves accountable. Stay out of every manager's way and let them manage their teams. Quit managing through authoritarianism.
Suggestions: offer true PPO plans with better coverage (I get regular comments from my medical providers and pharmacy that the coverage isn't great) improve the PTO policy (they say it's unlimited but it isn't), and better parental leave.
pay at the rate of inflation
pay should scale proportionally with inflation
Respect calendar blocks, require an agenda for all meetings, and leverage a PMO for scheduling and organization of executive-level initiatives. Additionally, reserve time in the week for all employees to work rather than meet.
i don't know, maybe shorten the all hands meetings.
i think we are all in the same boat. we are all frustrated with executive leadership. its not about working together better as much as just having good direction
dont threaten firing employees over emails. or better yet dont threaten firing employees over something that isnt performance related or harmful to other employees
pay that scales with inflations, not getting emails threatening termination, continue autonomy over time off as long as it does not effect performance, not forcing people to make changes to how they work if they are already doing well and shorter all hands meetings
Oversolutionized and takes too long.
Lack of organization and direction from the top down. We are expected to follow what the most senior leader wants without rhyme or reason. To fix it, we need to make and stick to annual plans, make and stick to realistic goals, and stop putting the cart before the horse.
our product doesnt work well for most people
Bad leaders that shouldn't be leading. Broken processes that no one cares to solve. An environment where teams blame one another. No work/life balance comprehension.
