What did you like most about the interview process?It went very quickly. They called to see if I was still interested after applying, scheduled my interview and gave me a tour, and I had a job offer a couple days later.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?The little people and blue collar folks at the office are really the heart and soul of the company. We all know each other's names and make the day go by wonderfully. We just wish those schmucks in their Gucci's from the executive office would stay the heck out of the way so we could do our jobs.
What are some of the best things about your team?Everyone pulls their weight and actually enjoys the work they do. There are a lot of creative, smart, down to earth people that make this place successful. We are giving a lot of autonomy to just do our jobs in the best way we see fit without being micromanaged. That part is nice.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?The company pays far below current market value for similar jobs. They offset this, by giving company stock, which you are not eligible to actually receive until after your five year mark at which time they will try to fire you to get out of paying you the company stock.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?Train those who work under them, define clear goals and expectations of what is expected of your employees.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?Leadership needs to learn how to communicate better with their subordinates... less politics, less favoritism, less stagnation, and less false promises.
