Leadership team needs to try being Honest with the customers and employees...
Get involved with what really goes on in each field office/shop. Staff members are treated unfairly, dismissed, or discharged when they have been loyal for decades without any verbals in their records.
Stop forcing the upsell constantly
Compensation would not be an issue if the staff was treated as part of the corporation, not independent contractors. There is absolutely no loyalty to the staff, nor the customers. If they don't make money they (Roto Rooter) increase the prices to the clients.
Forced to upsell but make no commission on it
Be more interactive and communicate
Stop working against each other
They need to focus on the managers that deal with the teams, the problem is poor management skills, zero knowledge of the industry, and pushing staff to make money regardless of the job or the client needs. Only certain team members are allowed to do preform money making jobs, the rest struggle.
all about sell sell sell not quality workmanship

Stop price gouging to meet numbers, treat staff as team members, and give all the same opportunity to train to make money doing what they love. Don't run the senior staff away simply because they make more commission.
