I never felt like there was a good feedback loop to senior leaders, as senior leaders didn't know about what was going on under the layer of management beneath them and then so on.
Listen to what the sitters are saying

Trusting it's employees and communicating better.

realistic advertising, it's very difficult to get offers early on
Being honest and creating a culture that values people
Review from HR Dept
Rover takes 20% from pet sitters pay. This is separate from State and Federal income taxes, which sitters additionally have to file and pay with no assistance. The CEO makes over $5 million.
Review from Operations Dept
Rover pays substantially less than other companies. I feel like Rover.com could afford to pay us more than $15 per hour and still be very profitable.

Because they harassed me there
Review from Customer Support Dept
I wish Rover provided independent people like full time sitters with benefits, not sure when I'm going to do when I need health insurence. I also wish I didn't have set my prices high knowing I won't recieve 30% of what my clients are paying me.
I do not have benefits. I am a walker. Would like very much to become a customer service representative as well as remain a Rover walker.
It's hard to interact; we all are so busy
Review from Operations Dept
Working from home has been tough. Slack makes Rover seem so much smaller and it's harder to interact.
Review from Operations Dept
Some were good, but managament was poor
Review from Customer Support Dept
There are no meetings, so they can't be good or bad
Have the people reauesting a sitter background checked so it is safer.
Review from Operations Dept
Listen to the sitters, the people who actually take care of the dogs
Review from Customer Support Dept
New leadership in HR, more communication and honesty from leadership. Fairer pay.
Review from HR Dept
Again, providing more opportunities. As an idea, after 1 year of a certain number of dog walks, we could gain a recommendation from them to apply to a dog training program or something, which would then lead to a better career.
Review from Operations Dept
Give employees a higher percentage of the payment.

Please stop asking me questions

They just take too much money out. I get $20 per walk, and takes about an hour of my time all together, maybe a couple bucks of gas. But they take 4 of it, and with gas, I get 14 per walk. This is not enough.
