I am grateful for my job at Sage. I get to work with inspirational colleagues and leaders. The pace is fast, the expectations are high and everyone is encouraged to be who they are and do the best they can. We have an amazing CEO - I wish there were more leaders, managers and colleagues like him.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Open, honest, transparent. There are definitely some colleagues that work harder than others but we are a good team nonetheless.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Sage cares. It is evident in everything they did and continues to do for colleagues around the world due to COVID-19. Sage embraces all colleagues.
What makes you most happy at work?
The fact that my brain is challenged. That I work with really bright, kind and supportive colleagues (especially the overseas team). They encourage me to keep going. Acknowledgement and recognition are extremely important.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
For the first time ever, Sage has started to contribute to our monthly medical aid fees. All other leading companies in our region pay a minimum of 50% contribution to your monthly medical aid costs.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Our CEO and COO are open, honest, transparent, approachable. They lead from the front, making sure that we stay on track to achieve our vision and that we fulfil our purpose. Sage took really good care of us during COVID.
