SAIC Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

The stock package is great here

Matching percentage is decent and acceptable.

Salary is competitive, also receive stocks

flexibility in work week or month

PTO is the best part

Paid holidays are very good.

decent medical and vacation packages

Salary is fair and competitive.

I like the health plan.

I would say the retirement option

Review from IT Dept

Feeling like it matches my worth and being taken advantage of.

I want to note that I work for a (nice) negotiated hours rate only as an otherwise retired part time consultant for SAIC. I therefore can't comment on their benefits, but am very satisfied with my position with them.

core salary is market rate

Review from Engineering Dept

My role don't have stock compensation but they allow to buy at 15% discount.

The leave policy is great and the hours you accrue weekly is awesome.

Review from IT Dept

Base salary is competitive with the market and incentives are achievable

Great options at affordable rates

Review from IT Dept

They offer a competitive salary

Review from IT Dept

Good options I can choose from.

Review from IT Dept

Compensation comparable with industry averages.

Review from Operations Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Put in a leadership team that values people and team work.

Poor amount of PTO is my main benefit complaint

I think my compensation is somewhat average

Not enough pay for what they require

Review from IT Dept

Pay that keeps up with Inflation so Im not loosing money every year

Work to income ratio is off. For a very specialized career field with tons of on the job learning, memorization, there is zero room for employee growth. Employees make less than packers at Amazon. Benefits are outrageous for cost.

Review from Customer Support Dept

over the years, one benefit after another has either been reduced or removed...

I am underpaid in comparison to others in my same role.

Review from IT Dept

Yes clearly undervalued and treated in a sharp manner

Health care competitive with smaller contracting companies not with our corporate sized peers. Why a huge company with a huge pool can't negotiate rates better than a small company with a smaller pool is beyond me.

Review from Engineering Dept

Adaquate compensation of peer’s, Federal contract information should not be proprietary.

Review from Operations Dept

The company puts the majority of its benefits for younger employees at the detriment of senior staff. On site managers do not exhibit care of th or staff

I feel compensation is good. I would like to see better medical benefits though.

Review from IT Dept

Benefits and compensation significantly lag behind other technology companies (for the IT organization). No expectation that it'll be enhanced anytime soon.

Review from IT Dept

More pay

Review from Engineering Dept

No company matching for charity contributions is embarrassing. 401(K) matching has significantly decreased since beginning at SAIC.
