SAIC Leadership Employee Reviews

What do you like best about the leadership team?

Caring, supportive, not just numbers

our boss in our building will go out of her way to help us.

They are approchable and and competant

My manager invests time in developing the team, both as a whole and as individuals.

Caring, compassionate, want to help you succeed, and knowledge.

They have an open door policy and they really mean it. They're always around to help to ensure we can succeed at our jobs.

Review from IT Dept

They are very good people

the openness and up front decision making

Understanding and flexible managers lead

My manager cares about me more than the company

With the exception of promoting our current PM and his deputy to their current positions, the leadership team has been good.

They are very communicative with me

they are very hands off leadership

The honest and transparent communication to employees.

That they are helpful and really take care of their team.

My manger is very transparent with us as a team. He is a great team player.

Review from IT Dept

compassion when bad things happen or family issues

Passionate about the company mission.

Offer guidance when asked for and leave you be to complete your tasks.

They are good at what they do and do not interfere unless necessary.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Leadership, management, decision making, planing

I reached out to HR and they wouldn't even get back to me. Leadership needs to respond to their employees.

Taking care of their emplyees

Review from IT Dept

Communication and knowing the rules. I've been lied to about tenure retention and multiple other perks but the leadership doesn't care.

Although site supervisors do what they can and are usually for the employee the company ties their hands and doesn't allow them to reward employees who do their job.

Review from Customer Support Dept

Stop cutting benefits to those who have given a lifetime to the company just to keep stock prices high. I just read my benefit cuts and I say you are about to lose a lot of talented folks. No cell phones for after hour customer support; losing 3 weeks of vacation, health care is very costly. I'm out

Review from IT Dept

get rid of cubicles - they are IMPOSSIBLE to work out of

Great hours, decent work-life balance (set your boundaries), and very competitive salaries - some of the highest in the industry. Constant restructuring and disorganization has led to chaos and teams across the board struggling to understand their roles, while upper management remains incompetent.

Review from Operations Dept

Compensation for Federal contract employees, higher than 1% above min, wage. Transparency with healthcare packages. Federal contracts should not hold proprietary information from contract employees.

Review from Operations Dept

Taking car of its employees especially those on a contractor or government site

A company whose revenue is directly the labor of the front line employees should be offering competitive benefits for those employees.

Review from Engineering Dept

Listening to front line employee concerns, not one another, and actually doing something about it

Review from IT Dept

Communication frequency with employees in terms of near term changes

Review from IT Dept

Paying for capabilities and performance, not using good old boy methods rampant in the area.
