Yes, depending on your job. I initially started full-time at the office and had to move 1 year later by which time everyone was ok with me working remotely (this was before the pandemic). We are now at a hybrid model (again, depending on your job and the needs). My team is spread across the world so I only go to the office for special events. Job descriptions will give you an initial expectation to be met but this can change over time.
