Great experience learning and growing as a business leader
Its been a great experience that has helped me grow and develop over my time here. Learned a lot that I will have for the rest of my career
I have been invested in, trusted with more responsibility, and rewarded over time for doing well with those things entrusted to me. The culture is positive and the people are growth oriented. It has been a great experience, even with its challenges.
Shared Values and cultural expectations with coworkers
Shared values of growth and hard work
Most of them are empathetic leaders
People want to grow and are generally positive
They dont wait to act
Goal setting and learner culture
its focused on serving others. That selflessness is huge.
To solve challenging problems with smart and positive co-workers
To do good work with people I care about
The growth orientated environment and focus on goals and future
Seeing friends at work and being able to solve problems
Larger raises. I feel my position is paid under market pay
the team shares a vision and is invested in growing each other.
we have fun at work and have the culture where its encouraged
Seeing friends, doing good work that produces results, and getting closer to my goals.
Transparency with regard to the vision of the business and the current health/growth of the business
The flexibility to choose what works for me (paid health membership, multiple medical plans, day of recognition, volunteer days, just PTO rather than sick and vacation time)
My leader is amazing with holding me to a result but not micromanaging how I get to the result. He coaches me, empowers me, cares about me, and then lets me drive my results.
Paid lower based on benchmarking and compared to peers in the company since I have been a longer term employee. its hard to increase pay when you grow in the org. Pay seems to be much higher for those attracted outside the organization
Sales, even poor sellers, make a lot more than other functions. It also seems like pay is more based on where you start vs what value you add. I dont want to job hop to increase my pay, but little raises every year doesnt grow income.
