I think there are some challenges the company faces in terms of globalizing and embedding processes, as well entrusting their employees to own decisions. But I would say the immense quality of recruitment/people at Service Express and the sense of shared mission makes these addressable long-term.

I enjoy the pace of change and ambition of the executive team to push the company further. One opportunity would be to free teams up more to do their work and trust them to be the experts in their fields. By doing so, you'd give people a greater sense of belonging at Service Express.

My team are all immensely knowledgable in their areas and happy to own things and take you with them as they work through things.

I think the SR5+ platform that aligns our ROIs, quarterly projects and Vision Goals gives us a shared sense of direction and transparency around priorities. It sets Service Express apart as a workplace and enhances our culture hugely.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

Our leadership team really lives our People-Powered culture in what they say and how they communicate, while consistently putting the overall state of the company and our performance at the forefront of their decisions. It's a hard balance to strike, but I feel they get it right much of the time.
