It was having a pension. However that was recently taken away from anyone hired after 2001

Upper management needs to connect more with the standard store employees. And leave behind the get it done at all costs selling techniques.
What would you improve about your company's interview process?
Getting to know the people you are about to promote to see if they have the operational knowledge to run a store, not just be able to sell anything to anyone.
