I work at the Sherwin Williams charlotte powder coating plants and i use to love coming to work when i could understand which way my leadership at the charlotte were trying to take us. Now Plant manager will try to save a penny over the safety of the employees in the entire plant.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Bringing in a new mindset that understands more than just the small batch Environment
What are some of the best things about your team?
The passion and teamwork that my guys show on that floor is amazing. Management bring morral down.
What makes you most happy at work?
Being able to complete my job without the floor be blamed for managment Issues that should have been resolved way before it reached the floor. Management has no integrity.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Listening to the floor to resolve/ fix everyday production issuse pertaining to making our product the best and servicing our customer. The plant manager is not the professional when it comes to producing powder on the floor. The professional is the employee who does this job day in and day out.
