Shipt Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

We dont have benefits. I am an independent contractor.

Always paid every week on time

Review from Operations Dept

Not received any package yet

Great benefits and regular perks

Didn't have one none was offered

They are all pretty nice

High salary and good bonuses

Gympass is a nice compensation

None recieved that I am aware of unfortunately.

Review from Sales Dept

I enjoy working with people in customer service

Review from Operations Dept

My base salary and stocks are very competitive in my field.

Review from Engineering Dept

easy benefits, fair pay for what i do.

Review from Operations Dept

Being my own boss and employee.

Review from Operations Dept

That you get to pick your own hours so your package is pretty much made by you because you make your own decisions about working.

Review from Operations Dept

They are not many benefits since its independent contracting work, but the pay is clearly communicated.

Review from Customer Support Dept

All tips go to the workers. 100%

Review from Sales Dept

Promo pay incentives offered in the metro orders

Review from Sales Dept

Our health/dental/vision insurance is amazing.

Review from Communications Dept

Compensation is incredibly fair given flexibility of the role and non-monetary perks within the office, like free snacks, drinks, yoga, and additional benefits like great health insurance, 401k match, etc.

Review from Business Development Dept

The benefits are unrivaled. I know that I'll be taken care of, despite the length in which I work at the company.

Review from Customer Support Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Expected to work for pennies as a shopper after we deduct our expenses.

Because i worked so hard. Became committed to the platform. Then it was snatched away because my on time percentage dropped while still maintaing a great overall rating. Great completion & dependable percentage was not taken into consideration.

Review from Customer Success Dept

Sell the company to someone

I would feel better about compensation if they have the better policy for adding items sometimes I get an order of 10 and it turns into 30 and I get paid $0.25 extra. And the lack of orders coming in as unacceptable.

Shipt showed shoppers how good it could be to work for this company and then pulled everything right out from under us. This company is a joke. Everything from new leadership to the pay and bundles

Return to the old, transparent pay scale. They continually hire new shoppers and don't care about loyalty from those who have been with them since the beginning.

Review from Customer Success Dept

Lack of communication with metro leads who then communication with shoppers. Bundle payouts are insultingly low and have turned this job into a less than minimum wage gig.

More compensation closer to industry standard

Paying us the way they used to pay.

Actually be heard and something done when you have valid issues!

Again, if we're responsible for our gas bill then we need to be paid a base income weekly or monthly of at least $1k, as well as each shop being at least worth $10+. This amounts to at least $10/hour, especially when we need to drive variable distances/hour. Otherwise not worth our time.

Ummm getting paid fairly for shopping and delivery

The offer of more benefits and if Shipt is owned by Target I think a discount should be offered

Shoppers are kept in the dark about so many important factors, especially in regards to our pay

Yes i def do today

I would appreciate it if the executives would actually perform our job. See how it is to have limited stock, long lines, poor communication service and technical issues and non tipping members.

We are paid enough to live

Getting my account corrected and reopen my account.

Review from Customer Success Dept

Shoppers are the backbone of this company, and yet they have taken big pay cuts over the last year and a half. Even more maddening is the fact that Shipt has denied the pay cuts exist. I live it, my fellow shoppers live it. To deny it is to be completely out of touch with the shopper community.

More pay, less batches... that would be great. And also back to the previous transparency model
