What are some of the best things about your team?
Personal connections, even while fully remote. Willingness to help the team and individuals succeed. Integrity, big time. We always want to do what's right for the customer without compromising company or personal values.
What makes you most happy at work?
I love solving problems and researching, so offbeat customer requests and custom solution requirements are my favorite. I also LOVE process improvement so any chance to do that for my practice and team is A+++++
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Pay transparency so everyone sees what is considered fair compensation by responsibilities/experience. As a woman I've been underpaid my entire career but pay as a reflection of employee value keeps me too ashamed to ask others in my role to compare and to advocate for myself.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The flexibility and empowerment to work as hard as we need to and put it aside to enjoy the non-work aspects of our lives. This is the first time I've worked for a company that talked about a work/life balance and actually demonstrated it across every level of the company.
