Read, and consider resumes, and experience. Don't arbitrarily throw a over qualified person into a position that is a dead end and does not utilize their skills and experience, just to fill a opening.
Local, they do their best to work with associates,. Corporate they bark down orders and make it nearly impossible for store managers to give associates fair hours and pay. Corporate needs tti realize we are the reason they get high pay, bonuses, and benefits, while we work for peanuts.
Having 30 years experience in retail and not having my resume & prior management experience recognized or acknowledged & get paid the same as a 18yo high school kid while expecting and demanding more of me is absolutely frustrating. There is no incentive to do more when your value isn't recognized
If it wasn't for the people I work with, I would have left the company long ago. I see the commitment most put into their work to maintain the highest standards set forth. And I respect that work ethic. Unfortunately these associates have their morale depleted by cooperate bullying to often
