Smart & Final Interviews Employee Reviews

What did you like most about the interview process?

nothing. I was told lies by Bridgid McCauley

After submitting my application i was called the very bext day and hired on the spot

It was a easy interview

It goes pretty fast and they let you know everything upfront

The manager was down to earth and easy to get along with

Nothing much would be a good time

ask questions about the facts and not as many about personality

A chance converse with future employers and various job opportunities

Review from Customer Support Dept

It was a comfortable environment

They ask about what you did before and how would you handle your assigned duty.

they were willing to wait like 2 months until my availability opened up

Review from Sales Dept

The fact that i felt apart of the team before being hired

Review from Sales Dept

Didn't really get asked many questions due to my years of management experience at other work places

Feeling extremely over qualified during the process. Lol. But grateful for the opportunity.

The manager at the time asked when could I start and respect that shifts I asked for and if I asked for days off that I needed them being a single parent

They had the right position for me

Its not hard to get a job at Smart and Final.

That I was hired over the phone.

The interview process was also great. David showed me a lot of good things about his personality and character in the first couple of meetings. I felt welcomed immediately by everyone, except one person...again.

I was made to feel comfortable

What would you improve about your company's interview process?

Respond promptly. No one likes being kept in the dark about status.

Actually ask relevant questions pertaining to job

More than a five minute interview

Low standards. Lack of motivation. no right goals set

There needs to be a level of adequate information relayed to employee, from my experience.

after the hiring process if they fail to meet requirements dont keep them where theyre bad at move them around. does the 90 day process not matter anymore?

I was hired by a CEO, and the manager that hired me wouldn't pay me what was agreed upon

Read, and consider resumes, and experience. Don't arbitrarily throw a over qualified person into a position that is a dead end and does not utilize their skills and experience, just to fill a opening.
