My direct management is amazing. However, the management above me is horrible. No one seems to care about things that coild genuinely help customers. I think that if Sodexo actually cared about their employees, they would even make more money since thats all the company seems to care about.

It was like every other interview.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
There is almost nothing positive. I hate it here.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is kind and helpful. We all deal with management's mishaps together.
What makes you most happy at work?
Nothing makes me happy except the fact that I am about to quit.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Leadership needs to get better at valuing their employees. A company is as strong as its weakest link. If the employees working with the public are constantly being knocked down, there is no way for the public to have a positive perspective on them.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel undervalued because there is never anything nice to say. I do an amazing job and I know it. Leadership never recognizes their employees. I also believe that since we are understaffed and I am still doing the work of more than one, I should receive more than minimum wage.
