My current assignment has been rewarding. We have a great team, but as I said previously, would be nice if the GM would not micromanage.

The interview was more conversational and less rigid.

Great team interaction helps to make the meetings meaningful.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Better pay and not having a GM that micromanages would greatly improve my desire to go to work.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Our team has developed well over the past year. Sure, we have our issues, but overall it's a great team.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They're not only concerned about our divisions success, but mine. My DM is continually encouraging me throughout my career, which helps me to be better engaged.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel I'm better paid than most operations managers within Sodexo, but well below the national average in the US. Also, not having performance bonuses, or any bonuses, leads me to look outside of Sodexo for opportunities to grow.
