Working alongside Stackers has been the best experience of my entire career. Sometimes it feels like we're either lacking focus on our goals, or uncaring about the base work required to achieve them. We're losing so many key people in the company that I'm scared about the future of our culture.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Leadership usually has great availability, which means I wouldn't have to jump through multiple hoops to communicate with them.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The best part of the whole package is the salary itself, keeping a good salary is the best way to make an employee feel properly compensated.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team is always eager to learn, share and tackle challenging problems. I feel like I can connect to them both on a professional and personal level.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The people. I'm not sure what it is about how we hire, but we always attract smart and wonderful people to work here. Even on the hardest days, knowing you will work together with these people encourages one to move forward.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
We're losing our biggest asset: people. With so many folks leaving, and the workload being rebalanced on the remaining people, it always feels like we're in survival mode, and because those people are no more, the work environment gets a lot less exciting.
