As a white male, I am incredibly discriminated against. I've been told in that "we already have plenty of white males, so we wanted someone with more diversity for this role". I was also told that I didn't have experience in that product line, but they ended up hiring a female with less experience.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They actually care about me as an employee.
What makes you most happy at work?
Getting to solve problems to make healthcare better.
What are some of the best things about your team?
All people on the team are very hard working, and we all work together for the good of our customers.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
All working toward the same goal. The only negative thing is that some people are so competitive that they do not work well with others.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Raises are well below market. Employees are leaving all the time for better offers. I've had multiple offers in the past year above my current salary (including benefits). The only reason I haven't left was the longer commute time to another job.
