Stryker is the only company I've ever worked for - I started right after I graduated from college. Fifteen years later, I've had richer experiences, bigger responsibilities, and more leadership opportunities than I ever could have imagined. I'd love nothing more than to retire from Stryker!
What did you like most about the interview process?
There is a great emphasis on cultural fit once qualifications/education have been confirmed. I think this helps us build better, more cohesive teams.

There is a genuine care and concern for employees as individuals. This spills over into improved work product and greater connection to the company mission.
What makes you most happy at work?
I like solving big problems - and I'm given the autonomy to do so in the way that makes the most sense for our business.

They are a diverse group, committed to our mission. It always feels like they have the best interests of our people and customers top of mind.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The 401k match is a really nice perk - it's helped me be MUCH more prepared for my eventual retirement than my peers at other organizations.
What are some of the best things about your team?
I love working with our global team - it forces a breadth of perspective that helps us make better decisions. Plus, SYK people are just awesome - so it's fun to work with people that I'd call friends anyways!
