What's the pay like for Operations roles at Sysco?
Not nearly what it should be.
Way over paid
We get paid good. Good benefits and pension.
If you could make changes, how would you improve the culture at Sysco?
Stop the corporate greed. Stop using employees as sacrificial lambs by forcing them to program artificial intelligence platforms that will ultimately replace them. Too many layers and layers of hidden equities that steal from commissions and fair compensations. When your shareholders become more important than your employees, big problems lie ahead.

What is the best part about your compensation package at Sysco?
Because i recieve a small pension benefit j do not qualify for enhanced 401k. Wish that would change and i could oarticipate in both

Bring back a common sense bonus package that ensures quality of service, longevity of labor, and gives back a hefty reward for work. WIP

Environment was bery negative for a few yrs. we have hired more people to do the workload and now environment us improving

How flexible is your work schedule at Sysco?
You are never off duty
Not too bad, but work way too much
Not flexible at all. In most cases you need to take the day off, even if your obligation is late in the day. It's even encouraged my management to do so.

My process was simple 12 years ago. From what I have heard from other people, it is so hard to get on with the company.

50hrs a week. There is a lot asked of the sales department but the ones that can manage it all are paid well
What's the pay like for Sales roles at Sysco?
Not high enough for the Amount and time spent on the work involved. Sales position ends up being six days a week sometime seven and pay is not commiserate with that much energy spent.

Every man for himself, most sales people will cut your legs off for a new account or for an existing account for this expanding into your area.

Self absorbed, Unable to offer support or even help do the simplest of tasks. Seems as if they were rewarded the job not earned the job . Most customers don’t want to see them because they never offer any solutions or help to problems.

My customers! Our Opco is so team orrianted that it makes it more as a Family environment than a Job environment.
