The Walt Disney Company Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Free park entry is available.

I think the retirement, health and parks/discounts are very good

Free passes to the parks

Park admission benefits and discounts

I get to enter the parks for free

The pay rate is commensurate with the area and work done.

Review from HR Dept

Unlimited PTO is my favorite benefit.

Review from Product Dept

The employee benefits were great. We had everything from medical insurance, dental insurance, 401(k), and a lot of perks like tickets to the parks employee discounts.

Review from HR Dept

Great salary, outstanding benefits package, and flexible work week

I work part time and am paid weekly

Comped tickets, generous pto, thorough training

Lots of options. Fairly priced. Extras like adoption assistance for those who need it.

good healthcare, and increase in family leave.

Paid vacation, education and insurance

Flexible and affordable health benefits + perks

Perks and discounts to parks and adventures

All of them, salary tickets

Cash compensation - but I believe that I am unique.

Salary is the best part

The base salary is competitive

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Long hours, difficult customer interactions.

Knowing women and POC were hired, paid, and promoted equitably.

I'm confined to pay bands that are capped at 5% and not offered bonus opportunities. My work is of greater safety risk to myself, I make more impactful decisions for people, but I'm compensated the same as those that don't have the same risk or consequences.

Hard to say, needs to think about

Disney continues to pay under market.

We dont get stock or bonuses

The truth shall come to the light.

Actually pay us instead of giving us free ice cream once in a while

As a coordinator I do more than my leadership and get paid so much less than them

Offer competitive and equitable salary and merit increases across ALL groups.

Higher pay. Benefits. Consistent days off

I really feel undevalued by the company i everyday like a useless pawn on a chess board

Review from Product Dept

We handle over thousands of guests in the florida summer heat, rain and hurricane. A lot of our positions are outside and most of us get heat exhaustion or heat stroke. The leadership response is primarily to just drink more water, even though most of us drink 100 oz + a day.

Below industry average compensation. Higher salary and profit sharing opportunity would be better.

Review from Operations Dept

constantly praised and told how well i am doing/that i go above and beyond for my team - our whole team is paid below average and growth is near impossible

Review from Operations Dept

Same pay rate regardless of years worked. Was paid 4.5 minimum wage for same job in 1982...now it's less than 2 times minimum wage.

Review from Operations Dept

Compensation is not in alignment with other companies in the industry. Benefits are used as a carrot to balance but those don't equal either.

Review from Finance Dept

In smaller companies people who do the same work as me make almost double what I make. My opinions and concerns are not taken seriously and in most cases my Leaders are just looking out for themselves.

Review from Communications Dept

I believe that all salaries need to be re-evaluated.

Review from HR Dept

I feel they could pay a little bit more but they compensate with large benefit packages that are better than many competitors in some areas and standard in others. It
