Great collaboration and pride in the orgamization.
Leadership needs to start caring about their staff and patient safety. Not only do they force employees to work short staffed EVEN when people want to pick up, they're not even around to help when it is needed.
Focus on the essential things.
Listening and taking concerns seriously
Support staff, give breaks to nurses
The leadership cares about their salary only, not the staff or patients
Excellent retirement benefits and medical.
The health insurance is decent
We are rhe lowest paid hospital in the county. They've been "bending the truth" that we are gettig bought out by another company and to hold on because things will get better. After two years, that fell through. We would be making 15-20/hr, they further disrespected us by giving us a $1-2 raise.
CEO that keeps his promise
Better pay since we are the lowest in San diego
I would like consistent lunch breaks and adequate staffing instead of using the money for the CEO bonus
Staff gets laid off then the CEO gets a pay raise.
The staff that are not in administration care about each other.
Everyone is willing ro do whatever it takes.
We help and support each other
Everyone gets along and works together
We always pull together and keep a running sheet of who stayed over last time, and whose time it is to stay overtime next....THis works well for us. Nurse Manager is not involved at all on who stays over or goes home. We always cover our shifts, cause in long run, its the patient who suffers
Review from Operations Dept
Better morale and staffing, safety
The culture created and environment where everyone is after each other.
No structure and poor training of managers
Review from Operations Dept
The team is run poorly. This affects people’s attitudes towards the career daily. If it was run more properly and effective we would have a better morale.
Review from Operations Dept
You make your work enviroment what yiu want it to be- if you are a fun/ positive person and encourge others like I do i feel that helps the overall moral
I enjoy how well we get alone and work together
The hospital administration, especially nurse managers need to be replaced with people who know what they are doing.
Getting rid of workplace bullied with multiple complaints about them from different people.
Listen to staff who have concerns
New management, more incentive for staff
Less intimidating tactics and better management and administration
The interview was very quick
I liked that people seemed interested in me and care about family life
Our needs to focus on improving our current unit and allow for other units to staff themselves
HR is not trustworthy. They are out to terminate anyone with an opinion.
Be more professional and stop looking for the cheapest option
Review from Operations Dept
Helping patients who come in sick and making them feel better
I enjoy helping people while efficiently producing work for diagnosis.
Review from Operations Dept
Helping others get well and go home
Review from Operations Dept
Admin has zero clue about what the actual WORKERS here are going through, nor do they care. They only care about cutting costs.
Review from Operations Dept
Improve community perception of the facility
Money is not put towards the hospital so it is run down and inadequate
Again we have leaders who seem to be patting the backs of the board members potentially getting kickbacks.
Complete lack of leadership. Inept and uneducated people in management and leadership levels. No real passion among the executive team to care for the community. Just going thru the motions.
