Growth in the company worries me. Also, the insecurity of being laid off at any time. I understand that is good to push us but, probably a little toxic, if its permanent. No side benefits, paid leave, compensation for equipment etc. These things salary make the compensation less competitive.

learning but I wish there was more of it to improve my skills and knowledge of key areas
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Mass layoffs make me feel insecure. I understand the reasons behind them but I think the company can do more to make them feel valued. $20/hr rate for L1 would certainly be above market as getting the equipment, any paid plans for loom or Grammarly etc is on us.
