What did you like most about the interview process?I enjoyed the case study and the live interview to go through the case study. It mimicked what it could be like actually working with the team, so that was great.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?People are respectful even in disagreements. Radical candour is appreciated and we all work together to make things happen, with very little ego in the way.
What are some of the best things about your team?Most of them are collaborative and go above and beyond. A handful are not as competent/collaborative, but it is not surprising as many people stay very long in this company and perhaps they need to upskill themselves / the company needs to take a harder look and not always just reward loyalty.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?Trivago stopped investing in innovation - we used to be a market leader commercially and technologically. Now we've lost the competitive advantage and it's hard to get it back.
