The change in leadership was when I noticed things going downhill. Incompetent people running things and hiring more incompetent people to manage.
Leadership has no idea what they are doing. They are motivated by their own success only. Apparently extra marital affairs and lap dances at company functions are the way to success.
the culture is toxic and burns out good people regularly
Very expensive policies, per condition deductibles piss people off and aren't properly explained by sales. Most policy holders have no idea what they're paying for. Preexisting conditions will make insurance not worth it.
Listen to your customer. Hire more software engineer to improve your software. The trupanion software is a joke and could use a lot rebuilt.
Hire more people in IT!! It will helps you to built better software product.

Competitive base salaries and slower, more thoughtful change. The marketing/revenue teams seem to reorg every 3 months. It's extremely disruptive.
