It's just me and my boss and she listens very well.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Staff lack strong work ethic and innovation. The Dept. should seek diverse and motivated recruits.
Better time management, increased use/understanding of SharePoint and Microsoft 365 for online collaboration
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Its just the two of us in our housing authority and we have similar ideologies.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
The Dept needs to recruit and retain folks from various fields with diverse skills and interests.
Better internal communication, improve trust, more team work and stop trying to always push work to other organizational units.
What did you like most about the interview process?
It was detailed and the interviewer knew exactly what to ask and what they were looking for.
The interviews were fair - the questions were all the same.
What would you improve about your company's interview process?
The federal job application service is complicated and deters many people. There needs to be a more streamlined system with updated practices.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
In addition to an overall aging workforce with less motivation, morale is low. While better hiring practices could help, better communication between employees and managers would help retain folks.
Improve culture, foster innovation and rebuild trust between managers and staff.
