    Though they don’t use the term raise there are two things that help you make more money every year or every few years. The first are The cost of living adjustments in January usually between 1% and 2% but we went for 5 years without getting one, it’s oart of the congressional budget and republicans usually try to avoid giving money to federal employees. Almost all jobs are on the GS scale and you can look them under here. https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/pay-leave/salaries-wages/ You start at step one and after one year if your evaluation is at least average you go to step two, after your 3rd step them come every 2 years and then they become after 3 around step 6 or 7. I generally takes 20 years to go from step one to step 10, however every 3 years with an excellent evaluation you might be able to move up another step instead of getting a cash bonus.
