I think a lot of companies are moving towards more comprehensive benefit packages, especially a better program to build PTO. Market value also shows higher compensation for multiple positions.
More focus on the department. It can be improved by actually listening to issues and just attempting to solve them rather than sweeping them under the rug and pushing employees to the brink.
