Quite. You have to already be doing the work, and then fight for the title and raise, and they are freer with the title than the raise when it comes down to it.

How does Unisys handle HR issues?
Unisys has many locations spread across the U.S. and the world. Being in a satellite office, it doesn't feel like there is much of an HR department. It would be nice to have an anonymous way to handle issues of harassment or other workplace issues.

What are your coworkers at Unisys like?
Most of them are great. Helpful and eager to get things done. Some in the past did not understand boundaries and bordered on harassment.
How secure do you feel at your job at Unisys?
Fairly. I am not fully matched, nor am I personally fulfilled. The corporate structure while offering benefits is a soul-numbing environment.
What's the best part of your job at Unisys?
Being able to listen to podcasts while working. Being able to learn more about design.

Slow and then hectic

2x in three years about 5% of my starting pay (which is the lowest on the team due to experience and other factors)

Enjoy the type of work you would be doing. Enjoy being in a corporate structure.
What unique perks and benefits does Unisys provide?
Perks are fairly minimal. We do receive paid parking, which is nice. Our office holds lunch socials and these are largely self-funded. We do not receive much in the way of funds.
How's the morale at Unisys?
Decent.
What's one thing you wish you'd known before joining Unisys?
I knew the projects wouldn't be terribly interesting due to the nature of government work. However, I wanted to learn more. I am continuing to work on my skills so that I can grow and advance.
What's the vibe like in the Design dept at Unisys? How many hours are you working?
Pure design work comes in bursts. Mostly the front-end devs are working 50+ hours developing and fixing bugs.
How's the leadership on the Design team at Unisys?
A bit chaotic.
