I had two phone interviews with the Director and the lead designer. It took about a week or so.

How would you compare interviewing at Unisys to other places you've interviewed?
Unisys is fairly laid back and gives new people the chance to learn. You may not advance at the rate you would like, but you will learn a lot and gain some level of exposure to new projects.
What kind of interview questions do they ask when hiring someone in the Design department at Unisys?
Create a mock-up of x. Show us your thinking behind why you created it. It might differ between designer and front-end dev.
In your opinion, what are the most common interview questions that Unisys asks?
They are not questions but being asked to create a project and then share it with the interviewing team.
How flexible is your work schedule at Unisys?
It is fairly flexible. It would be ideal to have the ability to split my time from office to home. I am most connect with a blend of structure and personal freedom.
What does the ideal candidate in the Design department look like at Unisys?
Well rounded with experience in development, user-testing and design. Enjoys working for a corporation while having some freedom to explore and bring creative ideas to projects. Enjoys traditional government projects.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved at Unisys?
Micro management is killing the actual developers. Outsourcing high-tech jobs to other countries wont help. No room for personal development
What needs to change to make the company culture better at Unisys?
Hire new graduates. Code more! Increase social interaction. More tech funding. Get rid of micro management! Too many managers than required.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation at Unisys?
Way too laidback, no progressive culture towards using better technologies. VP Engineering isn't technically educated enough to push ideas
What does the leadership team at Unisys need to get better at?
They need to develop tech vision for the company while they are currently busy laying off people just to fill their pockets.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better at Unisys?
Hiring better developers to come up with new ideas. More brainstorming required but most of the times are held back due to micro management
