Fantastic and enthusiastic towards all of our team.
The CEO seems to be very communicative via daily enail posts. The department managers arent in touch with their employees whatsoever. The RT department has too many layers of inexperienced and incompetent lower level supervisirs who sit in front of a computer for 12 hours, never help the RT staff.

Listening to staff. Following the rules they implement and not exempting themselves.

More competitive salary for the work we do.

Salaries for RT's are very low. Compensation shoukd be competitive with area hospitals and should reward the RT's for the excessive workloads theyre expected to complete.
I've recently been told my workload will increase by 50% with no increase in my pay.
Increase in salary by at least 5k

our willingness to cover each other and look out for each other's wellbeing.

Our team is incredible and see themselves as advocates.
My team is great and have stayed because of each other

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Co-workers are overworked and burned out. Many are under qualified to work in critical care areas.

UT has a very friendly environment everyone you meet always has a smile on their face and always willing to help
Getting to be around patients and putting a smile in their day.
In my corner of the UTSW world, people are kind and value teamwork.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Eliminate all the layers of unproductive administrative pisitions in the RT department and increase the clinical RT staff. The department director needs to actually talk directky to her employees and hold her leadership team accountable for creating a hostile work environment.

The organization is simply patient centered and employee strong.
Treating my patients well and the interactions I have with them.
I love what I do.

Patients believe the hospital is good, but they notice how the RT's are always in a hurry and comment about it.
