The leadership team only cares about hitting metrics flowed down from corporate. Reality does not enter into the equation and anytime facts are brought into the discussion people are labeled as poor leaders offering excuses

We need to become effective at concise meetings which are scheduled with a desired outcome rather than a chat. If possible make the change during the meeting that way something has been accomplished
The company needs to place less importance on leaders and treat all employees equal.
Pay people for performance and cut out the dead wood managers.
Employees need to be listened to and trusted. Teams need to be staffed. When we leave millions on the table because we wont add one person to a team, we're broken.
People need to be employed who can actually do the job they are paid for.

Culture is driven top down. The senior leadership never changes so the culture will never change
The unskilled relatives and friends of senior management do a terrible job. The couldn't care less if there's a fatal accident. They all need to be dismissed, and replaced with genuine people.
I don't feel there's any saving this company anymore. Management makes decisions without consulting engineering and then yells at engineers when the timeline set doesn't meet their expectations. Sick time has been slashed even during the pandemic. I think that says about all you need to know.
