RUN!!!! RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN!!!!

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Well... we filled out an employee engagement survey and nothing was done with the feedback. Start listening or at least pretending to care about your employees.

What are some of the best things about your team?

A lot of smart people trying to make this all work without support from leadership (or even engagement in any way) or the systems required to do the job well (e.g. forecasting and resource management.).

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

Evaluate the PTO policy. Identify strong leaders who actually engage with the clients as opposed to staying at a high level, unwilling to sully their hands. Identify leaders who are command and control and get them out. That model hasn't really worked in 20 years.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Focus on something other than Sales. There is zero interest in the clients and their projects until there is something wrong and they look for someone to blame. No one in leadership is engaged in the actual client engagement or making any attempt to retain staff or even figure out who is good/bad.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I have over 10 years experience and the individual I have spent training (and who has only 2 years of experience) just went to a competitor for my current salary. I was told that I was being promoted in July only to then be told that it won't happen until next May in August.
