A company with great potential but unfortunately there are lots of people without knowledge around payments in a senior role. Politics are next level at Verifone and you are stopped from telling the truth and the issues further to top management. Retaining good employees is very difficult...

alligning the benefits with what we have in the market in that specific region.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
better execution of our goals, hiring SMEs and not only juniors to do SMEs job, understanding the cultures, empathy, retain good employees by providing additional benefits (more vacations days for people who are within the company for few years)
What are some of the best things about your team?
we are united, we care about each other, we go out and try to stay connect and in a good relationship so we can work together. A team building would be great to help us getting connected with other departments too.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
the culture of the company, lots of employees are getting promoted based on politics. I get there are politics everywhere but at Verifone, everything is around politics and you can not express yourself and raise the issues because you will end up in a bad spot.
