The list of things wrong here is too much to fit into 300 characters, but the employees are all somewhat scroungy, the managers are seemingly incompetent / uncaring towards employees, and the setup is difficult to handle as everything is done in a tightly enclosed space.

Get a real dishwasher. Train and make these people feel that there will be consequences. Had a coworker cuss out a manager 2 times in 2 days. Got suspended for 3 days. Most places will fire you for that.
